John Dunkley
John runs EarthRights' Essex office where he is responsible for the partnership's
legally-aided public law work. He cut his environmental teeth on the Newbury Bypass campaign
and now regularly conducts legal challenges on issues ranging from quarrying to village greens, incinerators

Charlie Hopkins
In addition to being a solicitor, Charlie is also a qualified barrister.
He appears at public inquiries, as well as running legal challenges in the High Court.
Charlie was born in Newport, Gwent in 1953 and brought up in South Wales,
attending a local grammar school in Swansea. He studied Geography at Oriel
College, Oxford, specialising in geomorphology, and graduated with 1st class
